The Caldwell Western Heritage Foundation and the Caldwell Night Rodeo have again decided to provide scholarships for the youth of southwestern Idaho and eastern Oregon. They will be awarding 6 $2000 scholarships. To apply, students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. The scholarship must be used within a year from the date of the award. Students must complete an application and submit three letters of reference. Apply by March 20th, 2018.

The Nyssa-Nampa Sugarbeet Growers Association and the Agricultural Departments of the Amalgamated Sugar Company LLC- Nampa and Nyssa districts are sponsoring $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend college this fall. 

The scholarships will be awarded to dependants of Snake River Sugar Company LLC Cooperative members- growers who deliver sugar beets to the Nampa sugar factory. 

Applications can be requested by email norma@fortboise.com. All materials must be turn in by April 6, 2018.

Skyview Booster Scholarship
Applicant must be a graduating senior currently attending Skyview High School. Parents of each scholarship applicant must be current paid members as of Dec. 31st of the Skyview High School Booster Club.
The scholarship is to be used at a two-year or four-year accredited college or university. It can also be used at an accredited trade school within the academic year following graduation. 
Selection Criteria:

-High school transcript
- 2 letters of recommendation
-Personal interview (optional)

D.L. Evans Bank would like to offer thirty-two $500 scholarships to the 2018 graduating high school seniors. We offer scholarships to students who plan to attend one of the following colleges/universities
-College of Southern Idaho
-College of Western Idaho
- University of Idaho
-Idaho State University
-Boise State University
-Brigham Young University- Idaho
Treasure Valley Community College
Criteria:
Student must be a 2018 graduating high school senior from the Treasure Valley.
Student must be enrolled full-time and attend the fall semester right after high school graduation. 
Preference will be given to students majoring in finance, business, or economics; however, all majors will be considered.
Student must demonstrate academic progress with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum 18 ACT or 860 SAT.

PNACAC Student Scholarship


The Pacific Northwest Association of College Admissions Counseling (PNACAC) is pleased to announce that 
the student scholarship application is now liveFive students who attend school in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington will be selected for a one-time, non-renewable $1,000 scholarship. Students from diverse backgrounds and all family income backgrounds are encouraged to apply.  Deadline to apply is March 1, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria

·        3.00 cumulative unweighted GPA or higher.

·        Currently enrolled student who is in their senior year of high school in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington and plans to attend a regionally accredited college or university in Fall 2018.

·        Currently enrolled student who attends a two-year college in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington and plans to attend a regionally accredited college or university in Fall 2018.

·        Submitted the video essay and application by March 1, 2018.

How to Apply

1. Record a video (no more than one minute in length) responding to one of the following prompts:

·        “What would you like to be doing in 10 years, and how does college help you get there?” -OR-

·        “How has your college / career counselor, school counselor or advisor helped you (and/or others) in finding the right college fit and what would you like to say to them?”

2. Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo.

3.  Fill out the submission form at (URL), including the link to your video in the field provided.

A Few Rules About Videos

·        Must be created by an individual student. No joint entries (video with more than one student onscreen).

·        Must be no more than one minute in length.

·        Must be submitted by March 1, 2018 at midnight.

·        Must be hosted on either YouTube or Vimeo.

Videos will be judged on message, originality, and focus. Students do not need to be experienced videographers or editors and no fancy camera or special equipment is required. Just simply use your camera phone or borrow your friend’s!

Our scholarship is called The Beauty + Wellness Scholarship for Women and each quarter we award $1,000 + a care package filled with healthy organic goodies to young women who are striving to maintain their health and wellness as they pursue their higher education goals. 

 

Here is a brief summary of the eligibility requirements:

    • Award: $1,000

    • Quarterly Deadlines: January 1, March 31st, June 30th, and September 30th every year

    • Eligibility:

        + Must be a graduating high school senior, current college undergraduate, or current graduate student at a 4-year, 2-year, vocational, or technical school in the United States.

        + Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

        + Must identify as female.

        + We welcome all majors and GPAs to apply!

Applications are open for the ACT Student Champion Award! The ACT Student Champion Award recognizes one student in each state who is tenacious and persistent, no matter the challenge, and is prepared for life after high school with a goal in mind and plan in place. 

ACT Student Champions receive a $500 non-renewable scholarship, certificate, plaque, and state-level recognition. 

Criteria to apply: 
  • A student who has overcome challenges and can articulate education and career actions
  • Students must have a composite ACT score of a 22 on a single test date or a 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale
  • Preference will be given to underrepresented and/or first-generation college students.
Applications can be found at www.act.org/readinesschampions. Applications are due December 31, 2017, and champions will be notified on or before April 2, 2018. If applicants are under the age of 18, they must complete this form in addition to the application.

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. Their participation may be in any capacity, whether as a player, coach or official.

The Idaho Association of Counties  are now accepting applications for the 2018 IAC Scholarship. Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded to the winners as selected by the IAC Scholarship Committee. 
Children of county employees (county employees are those who are issued a paycheck by the county) working 20 hours or more per week and the children and grandchildren of county elected officials (assessors, clerks, commissioners, coroners, prosecuting attorneys, sheriff and treasurer).
The deadline for the 2018 - 2019 scholarship is
Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

The LendEDU Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship award. Our scholarship can be used to cover any and all costs related to your education. The LendEDU Scholarship can be used to cover tuition, textbooks, room and board, and even living expenses. The LendEDU Scholarship will be awarded to 2 students this Spring.
