Principal's message

Welcome to Skyview High School,

Skyview High School opened in 1996 as the second high school in our growing community. Our campus is located on Greenhurst Road between Sunnyridge Road and South Powerline Road.

We believe that Skyview High School is a very special place. Students, teachers, support staff, parents and our administrative team all have a significant role in our tradition of excellence in leaving a legacy in academics, sports & activities and student success.

Our motto “It’s Great to Be Hawk!” is evident in all aspects of our educational programs.  We continue to celebrate our success in academics, the performing arts, student activities, Professional Technical Programs and athletics. Striving for excellence is our priority. We are dedicated to helping students reach their greatest potential.  We work diligently to define what our students need to know and will be able to do when they leave SHS.

Thanks to our team of highly qualified and experienced staff, we continue to see strong improvement in our instruction and gains in academic achievement. We are proud to report that our graduation rate continues to climb and is one of the highest in the county. We consistently graduate students over a 90 percent rate on average.
