Skyview Offers Cardiovascular Testing for First Time

Cardio

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Sudden cardiac arrest is the #1 cause of death in young athletes. But it is preventable.

Skyview High School Sports Medicine and Wimbledon Health Partners are partnering up to offer cardiac screenings to protect our student athletes. I am happy to share with you that Wimbledon Health Partners is providing cardiovascular testing for our students (ages 12-25) here at Skyview on school grounds, November 12 and 13, 2016.

Wimbledon Health Partners will bill your health insurance for this testing. Based on recent data, your insurance will cover most, if not all, of the cost of testing*. If you have not met your deductible and would like WHP to check with your insurance carrier to determine your out-of-pocket expense, please call them at (855) 200-8262. They will be happy to assist.

Proactively identifying heart conditions before sudden cardiac arrest happens has proven to save lives. Even if your child seems healthy and has no symptoms of an underlying issue, he/she could still suffer from an undetected and life-threatening condition.

It is critical that you make sure your student gets tested, so please SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT today to secure a spot. You can access the registration paperwork and learn more about the testing process at www.wimbledonhealthpartners.com/registration.

I look forward to making sure your student’s life is safe!

Sincerely,
