This is a dual credit class.  CNA 2 students can get 5 credit hours through the College of Southern Idaho.  Credits are obtained Spring semester of the senior year. Students cannot take CNA 2 without successfully completing CNA 1, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology and Health Occupations.  CNA 2 is the year that students do their clinical experience.  Clinical experience is held in area long term care facilities in Nampa buy state mandate.  CNA 2 students will end the year prepared to take the state certification exam to become a CNA.  There are only 42 spaces for students in CNA 2.  Student must apply again for the class.  Must have a B or above in all the prerequisists and CNA 1, and have good attendance.  The spaces are limited because the clinical sites will only take 42 students per year.
