Colorguard
Colorguard is part of the co-curricular marching band.  It meets as a class during the day and at all evening rehearsals. The class is a semester class, with an extra curricular Winterguard happening some years during the spring semester.
 
Concert Band
Concert Band is a come all group that meets as a class spring semester.  Marching Band is required during the fall semester to participate.  Students can play Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone, Trumpet, Baritone, Trombone, or Tuba.
 
Jazz Band
Jazz Band is a year long course that meets as a class during the day.  Students are required to be in Marching Band fall semester and Concert Band/Wind Ensemble spring semester.  Students that play bass should be in an orchestra class. Students that play drumset, piano, vibes, or aux percussion should be in the drumline class.
 
Marching Band
Marching Band is the course for all woodwind and brass players that participate in the co-curricular marching band.  Students are required to take either Concert Band or Wind Ensemble in the spring semester.
 
Percussion Ensemble (Drumline)
In the fall semester, this course is for the front ensemble and drumline members of the co-curricular marching band and works as the percussion section for the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble classes in the spring semester. All percussion students take this year-long course.
 
Wind Ensemble
Wind Ensemble is an audition only band class in spring semester.  Students complete this audition in May for the following school year using an etude in the All-State audition packet.  Students must participate in the marching band fall semester. Students can play Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone, Trumpet, Baritone, Trombone, Tuba, or String Bass.
