SAT March 20th

The SAT School Day for the Class of 2025 is on March 20th in the Nampa School District. The SAT has a number of benefits. Students can use it for admission at a variety of colleges around the nation. It can also be used for scholarship competitions, placement into math and English, and can help match you with colleges.

However, it is not required for graduation nor is the SAT required for admission at any of Idaho's public or private universities.

This year, students can opt in or out for the SAT. Any student who does not complete this form will be automatically opted in. The deadline to opt in/ out is March 1st.

A few reminders about the SAT:
-it is free during the SAT school day
-it is digital
-it will take most of the day
- there are two large sections: Reading/ Writing and Math
-buses will operate on their regular schedule for this day
-students who test should not transfer to other schools
-all testers are registered at their home school

To help students prepare for the SAT, we will be hosting the SAT Crash Course on March 2nd. Students can learn from Math and English teachers about the SAT, what to expect, and test tips. Sign up HERE.
