  • Idaho Latino Scholarship Foundation
    Due Date: 3/31/2025 
    Scholarship Qualifications 

    • Must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.5 and above 
    • Be a high school student in Idaho and/or be attending an institution (university, college, vocational/technical or other) in Idaho for undergraduate studies 
    • Have demonstrated leadership in school, community and/or other service organizations that promote, enhance or strengthen diversity 
    • Idaho Resident and be of Hispanic/Latino descent 
    • DACA and undocumented are eligible to apply 
    • Award is for Idaho schools only 
  • Idaho's Battle of the Belts 
    Due Date:2/28
    The Office of Highway Safety, in partnership with State Farm Insurance, is pleased to present the Idaho Battle of the Belts competition! In this competition, we invite high school students across Idaho to develop plans for increasing seat belt use in their high schools and their communities and the opportunity to compete for up to $2,500 in college scholarship awards!
    Questions on the Idaho Battle of the Belts may be submitted to Tabitha Smith, Occupant Protection Program Manager - Phone: (208) 334-8104 - Email: tabitha.smith@itd.idaho.gov. The deadline for applications is February 28, 2025.

  • Cancer Pathways Teen Writing Contest
    Due Date: 2/28
    This is a writing contest for any teen around the country touched by cancer. This annual event encourages teens in grades 9-12 to write about their experience with cancer for the opportunity to win one of several $1,000 prizes.

  • Idaho Power Academic Excellence Scholarship
    Due Date: 3/1/2025 
    The Idaho Power scholarship program provides fifteen (15) $2,000.00 scholarships for graduating high school seniors who live in Idaho Power’s service area. These scholarships are non-renewable grants. To receive the scholarship, the recipient must plan to enroll at an accredited Idaho or Oregon college, university or vocational-technical school. The grant must be used during the school year directly following the awarding of the grant. Students wishing to apply for the scholarship must have a minimum cumulative 3.75 GPA, including one complete term (semester or trimester) of their senior year.  The deadline for submission is March 1, 2025. 

  • Idaho Power’s Douglas E. Sprenger, Kevin M. Whittier and Larry R. Wimer Memorial Scholarship Fund 
    Due Date: 3/1/2025 
    Two $1,000 scholarships will be available to students planning to enroll in engineering or natural resources programs at an accredited college, university or vocational-technical school in Idaho. These awards are granted on a one-time basis and are not renewable. Application requirements are included in the application form. The deadline for submission is March 1, 2025. 

  • Idaho Power Technical Scholarship 
    Due Date: 3/1/2025 
    Two $2,500 scholarships are available to support students who live in Idaho Power's service area and plan to enroll in an accredited Idaho technical school program to learn a skilled trade (e.g., linework, electric power, mechanical, welding, applied technology, etc.). Applicants must have a minimum 2.75 GPA or a GED certificate. 

  • Hispanic Business Association Scholarship 
    Due Date- March 3, 2025 
    Must have at least a 2.5 GPA, be an Idaho resident and of Hispanic descent. To apply, follow the link to the form, upload two letters of recommendation, official copy of most recent transcript, list of extracurricular activities and work history in a resume, essay question responses, and personal statement. 

  • Jiffy Lube Teen Driver Scholarship (One $4,000 award and two $1,000 award)  
    Due Date- March 10, 2025 

    Selection Criteria: 

    • At least one award will be given to those who are ages 15-17 and are currently or recently enrolled in a driver's education program and a second award will be given to students between the ages of 16-18 who are currently licensed to drive.  

    Application Criteria: 

    • Students may print an application or apply online 
    • 500-word typed essay about what drives you  
  • Treasure Valley YMCA Civic Engagement Scholarship 
    Due Date
    : 3/15/25 
    Each high school in the service area of the Treasure Valley Family YMCA may nominate one, and only one, candidate for a scholarship each year, so be sure to work with your school counselor during the application process. 
    Eligible students must: 

    • Be seniors of a public, private, charter, or parochial high schools in the geographic area served by the Treasure Valley Family YMCA (Ada and Canyon counties). 
    • Have made significant contributions to their community through community service, etc. beyond that which may be required by their school, church, Key Club, or similar organizations. 
    • Demonstrate a passion for and dedication to working collaboratively to find solutions for civic issues (whether homelessness, healthcare, education, environment, etc.) and an interest in pursuing civic work (whether career or volunteer) that will strengthen and improve our communities. 

    This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of demonstrated commitment to working within our communities to bring positive change and not based on academic or athletic achievement. Consideration will be given to students who may have difficulty furthering their education without financial assistance. 

    Applications are due March 15. 

  • Overcoming Disability Scholarship 
    Deadline:
    March 26, 2025 
    To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:  

    1. A) Be attending an accredited college or university in the Fall 2025 semester. B) Be at least 17 years of age and have a physical or psychological disability
  • P.E.O. SCHOLARSHIP FOR CTE HEALTH PROFESSIONS - 12th Grade Young Women 
    Deadline:
    March 28, 2025 
    Nampa P.E.O. Chapter BY is offering a scholarship to a young woman graduating in the spring of 2025.  The student must have been in the Nampa School District CTE Health Professions Program and completed a capstone class.  

    General Information: This scholarship is a $500 award to be used for post-secondary education in the summer/fall following high school graduation. 

  • Horatio Alger CTE Scholarship

    To qualify for the Career and Technical Education Scholarship, an applicant must:

    • Have completed high school (or equivalency) by July 1
    • Plan to attend a not-for-profit community college or trade/vocational school
    • Enroll in an associate’s degree, certificate, or diploma program by September that will lead to employment
    • May not be enrolled in pre-requisite courses
    • Demonstrate financial need (applicants must show household income of $65,000 or less)
    • Be under the age of 35
    • Be a United States citizen
  • The Nampa Association of Realtors Scholarship: NAR Foundation has raised money for student scholarships and teacher grants.

  • ISBA Student Photography Contest: ISBA is hosting a Student Photography Contest for students (K-12) of ISBA member districts and charters. This year's contest theme is “SMALL ACTS, BIG IMPACT". We are asking students to photograph moments of kindness, teamwork, or cooperation, showing how small contributions in schools and communities make our communities stronger. Students have until February 28, 2025, to submit a photo.

  • Deadline: March 25th
    Please see the list of scholarships below. Note that these scholarships are for Nampa School District seniors only. You may need a letter of recommendation, an essay, and a brief paragraph about your career goals.

    • George C Jacobsen Recognition Scholarship – $1,000 in recognition of academic excellence and community service for students who will pursue careers in Business Administration
    • James E. And Charlotte Schiller Memorial Scholarship – $1,000 for students enrolling at the University of Idaho
    • Clarabell Casler Memorial Scholarship (Five) – $2,000 open to all graduating seniors in the Nampa School District  (Up to two needs-based scholarships available, 5 scholarships total)
    • Wilbur and Ileene Sisson Memorial Scholarship – $1,000 for students entering the field of Engineering
    • Vern Carpenter Memorial Scholarship – $1,000 for students enrolling at Northwest Nazarene University
    • ELEVATE Nampa Commerce Scholarship – $1000 for students who plan to attend college in Idaho, have earned a minimum of 10 college credits in high school, and have a 2.8 GPA. 
    • Melvin Huter CWI Scholarship (Four) – $500 for students planning to attend the College of Western Idaho
    • Roger Kotter Memorial Scholarship (three) - Nampa High School, Skyview High School, Columbia High School, $1,000 each, community service and extra curricular activities are key components for this scholarship

  • Criteria for Eligibility:

    • U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States
    • Graduating Spring, 2025,from any Nampa high school OR a daughter
    • or granddaughter of a P.E.O. Chapter N member graduating
    • elsewhere
    • Planning to pursue her post-secondary education in the summer or fall of the year of her graduation
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4 point scale
    •  Demonstrates success in academics, leadership, extracurricular activities, and community service with potential for future success
    • Must complete the attached application to be eligible
