Percussion Ensemble | No audition required!
Includes Period 3 Drumline during Trimester 1.
All percussion students take this course instead of a regular band class. Students learn percussion fundamentals, perform music with the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble, and perform percussion ensemble music.

Students that play Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Percussion can audition. Students must be enrolled in a band, orchestra, or percussion ensemble course to participate.

IMEA All-State AuditionsAuditions must be submitted through the band director. No auditions will be accepted the day of the submissino deadline.

Students at the high school level can participate in the District III Solo and Ensemble Festival. Students who perform qualifying works can advance to the state level by placing in the top 3 of their category. Districts happens the last week of February. State is the first weekend in May. The fee to participate in the District level festival is currently $20.
